• Chez GIGABYTE, c’est soirée disco

GIGABYTE veut se renouveler et c’est par sa filiale Aorus que le constructeur essaie de la faire. On a alors un catalogue toujours aussi fourni, mais découper différement. Il faut maintenant faire avec les AORUS Gaming à la place des G1 Gaming, les GIGABYTE Gaming se plaçant à la suite pour aller jusqu’aux modèles les plus accessibles. Les Ultra Durable viendront satisfaire les besoins des bosseurs ou des touche à tout. Pas encore de modèle SOC Force en Z270, ce qui laissera certainement les adeptes d’overclocking sur leur faim.

Note d’emploi sur les tableaux
PCIe : on indique les ports par leur capacité de liaison maximale au CPU/Chipset, non pas par capacité physique du/des ports, un rapide aperçu sur la photo vous permettant d’identifier cela.
Suffixes — / – / + / ou ++ : indique une implémentation vraiment bof (–), moyenne (-), soignée (+) ou très soignée (++) de la partie relevée (principalement sur l’audio et les fonctionnalités d’OC). L’absence de suffixe indique une implémentation classique.
LAN : uniquement indiqué lorsqu’on sort de la traditionnelle puce Realtek.
RGB / LED : RGB stipule des éclairages licornesques, LED stipulant de l’éclairage à couleur fixe.
Debug / Diag LED : indique la présence d’un afficheur digital, ou d’un système d’identification rapide de problème au boot.

Typologie de nominage mobalesque chez GIGABYTE : c’est un vrai merdier.
AORUS • Pour le joueur mélomano psychotique en manque des années 80.
X • Indique le support du SLi.
K • Même chez Gigabyte, on ne sait pas expliquer précisément ce qu’implique ce « K ». C’est le KK.
SOC • La série de cartes destinées à faire péter les records d’OC.
H • Les cartes d’entrée de gamme.
D / UD • Durable ou Ultra Durable, spécifie la gamme de qualité des composants de puissance et de régulation embarqués.
